Pastor Jason and his family came to Brookville from Indianapolis, Indiana in December of 2022, where he was born and raised. He was raised in the church but did not become a Christian until he was 25. He received his calling to the ministry at 32, where he joined the Indiana Army National Guard as a Chaplain Candidate and enrolled at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009. He continued serving in the Guard until various injuries caused him to be Honorably Discharged in 2015.
Originally, Jason intended to be a history teacher, and taught for over 10 years at various levels in both Christian, private, and public schools. He has his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Ball State University. He graduated with his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries (Cum Laude) in 2012 and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at Grace College and Seminary in Winona Lake, IN.
Since coming to Brookville, Jason volunteers at the Brookville Fire Department and the Clay Township Police Department as a Chaplain. He also serves on the Board of LifeWise Academy’s Brookville chapter.
He has been married to Amanda since 2003 and has two children, Caitlyn and Jacob. Caitlyn has graduated and Jacob is currently enrolled in Brookville schools. Amanda works as a Dental Assistant and as the Church Secretary for Brookville Grace.
